The tape said wait; the Vikings did not. Jacory Croskey-Merritt went at the Round 7 slot, a good 29 picks before the board was ready. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Burke pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board. On value alone, Nash makes the weekend a net positive.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
