The Vikings clearly saw something nobody else did in Cam Jackson, taking him 25 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Harris falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Job largely done: safety settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
