MNFtball2025 DRAFTING FOR THEVikings
Draft Grade — Vikings
Overall
B
ValueA
NeedB+
TradesB-
FutureB-
Larceny in the Round 3 slot lands the Vikings a B, Bech and all. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jack Bech, the No. 68 name on the board, stolen at slot 97. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with safety the one that mattered most.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Ashton Jeanty
In the 24th overall pick they get a workhorse for the backfield at a price that makes it sweeter.
Pick97
Rnd3
Jack Bech
They robbed the room for Jack Bech here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick139
Rnd5
Malachi Moore
They took Malachi Moore at par in the Round 5 slot, which is nothing to complain about. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick187
Rnd6
Upton Stout
By-the-book stuff, Upton Stout at pick No. 187 squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
