The Vikings fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+.

Nobody else had Jarquez Hunter anywhere near No. 150. The Vikings did, by 40 spots, and that gap is the whole story. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Simon at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
