MNFtball2025 DRAFTING FOR THEVikings
Draft Grade — Vikings
Overall
B-
ValueB+
NeedC+
TradesB-
FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Vikings: B-. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Vikings never addressed quarterback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
Parrish at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They are betting Restrepo proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Jahdae Barron
In the 24th pick they get an island corner, and a steal at that. Need was not the driver here.
Pick97
Rnd3
Xavier Restrepo
Xavier Restrepo at Round 3, Pick 33 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick139
Rnd5
Jacob Parrish
Jacob Parrish is a better player than pick 139 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
Pick187
Rnd6
Jarquez Hunter
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jarquez Hunter. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
