Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Vikings came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Love. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Caleb Downs and all.
