The war room fell hard for Thor Griffith, and it showed at Round 7, Pick 29: 71 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

The Bassa pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
