The Vikings let Slaughter fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

When a board-topper like Jake Slaughter slides to No. 226, you do not overthink it, and the Vikings did not. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The back end got a real overhaul.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
