The Vikings spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Germie Bernard, the No. 65 name on the board, in the Round 4 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They will answer for taking cornerback early while quarterback, edge rusher and other spots went begging. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Every board in the league had Miller lower, and that gap is the story. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
