The Jaguars did not so much draft Anto Saka as overpay for him, 34 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Spending an early pick on edge rusher with interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Getting Joly where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
