When a board-topper like Jordyn Tyson slides to the 229th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Vikings did not.

It is not that Delane is a bad player; it is that the Vikings had louder needs to answer first. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
