Somebody in slot 146 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Vikings sat still while Zachariah Branch, the No. 113 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They will need Coogan to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Johnson pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback and edge rusher. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
