When a board-topper like Kayden McDonald slides to pick No. 213, you do not overthink it, and the Vikings did not. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. With quarterback, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

In the end it comes back to Kadyn Proctor, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
