The Vikings cashed the board's mistake on Tyson: B+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Vikings watched Jordyn Tyson slide 229 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Delane pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, safety and other spots still on the board.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
