They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Ethan Downs, 63 picks early at slot 227. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
