Nobody else had Xavier Truss anywhere near the 220th pick. The Patriots did, by 76 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The Amos pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
