The Chiefs cashed the board's mistake on Mullings: D.

Call it larceny. Kalel Mullings sat on the board until Round 6, Pick 19, and the Chiefs did not need to be asked twice. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
