A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Commanders get a C.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Commanders did exactly that with Grant Gunnell in the 36th pick.

The Thrash pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

So much rides on Brock Bowers that the real verdict is a season or two away.
