You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bengals took Jordan Hall at No. 250, roughly 37 spots before his name belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Robertson at that price is a win they earned.

It is not that McNeil-Warren is a bad player; it is that the Bengals had louder needs to answer first. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
