The rest of the league had time to spare on McCallan Castles; the Bears did not wait, grabbing him 102 spots ahead at the Round 7 slot. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. It is not that Stover is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In the end it comes back to Rome Odunze, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
