The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Browns watched Xavier Legette slide 61 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Browns paired the rookies with proven help, Alex Highsmith leading the way.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
