Draft Grade — Browns

FutureA+
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Browns and Proctor: B. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Browns did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most.
On value alone, Proctor makes the weekend a net positive. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick86
Rnd3
Junior Colson
Nice patience on Junior Colson, who had no business lasting to pick 86. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick138
Rnd5
Jalyx Hunt
Jalyx Hunt at pick No. 138 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the S-EDGE. Hard to map this one onto the depth chart at all.
Pick159
Rnd5
Justin Rogers
A straight-up fair deal on Justin Rogers at No. 159, value and slot in agreement. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick198
Rnd6
Isaiah Williams
Isaiah Williams at the 198th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick205
Rnd6
Josh Proctor
They robbed the room for Josh Proctor here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick208
Rnd6
JD Bertrand
JD Bertrand in slot 208 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
