The Raiders found their guy under center in Moore: B+.

Start where it matters. The Raiders took Dante Moore to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Allar has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Rivers. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The York pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, running back and other spots still on the board.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

In pick 2 they get a franchise quarterback. A clean fit for the roster.

In No. 30 they get a green-dot type in the middle, outstanding value to boot. More want than need.

A tidy little value on Emmanuel Pregnon in Round 2, Pick 4, a step better than break-even. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

Of all the spots to shop, they chose linebacker. Taurean York in slot 62 leaves edge rusher, running back and other spots for later.

Michael Taaffe in pick No. 67 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.

Steal is underselling it; Caleb Tiernan at the 102nd overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

They read the board right and Max Iheanachor was the payoff at Round 6, Pick 1. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jalen Stroman at No. 185. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.

Kobe Baynes slipping to the 208th pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
