The steal of the weekend belongs to the Texans and Jackson: B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Khyree Jackson tumbling to the Texans in the 158th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The cost of the McClellan reach is exactly the players who went right after him. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
