There is conviction, and then there is this. The Bills took Sam Hartman a full 41 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. There is no dressing it up: a F.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

The Watson steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with tight end still staring back at them.
