Grand theft in Round 4, Pick 10: the Giants steal Haulcy and grade out a A-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how A.J. Haulcy got past him. The Giants do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 110. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Tarheeb Still leading the way.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jeremiyah Love and all.

A top-tier edge rusher at a bargain, Caleb Banks in pick 47, plain and simple. It patches a soft spot without any drama.

Sonny Styles at the Round 2 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

They paid sticker price for Michael Taaffe in Round 2, Pick 32, and that is fine. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
