The rest of the league had time to spare on Jordan Whittington; the 49ers did not wait, grabbing him 48 spots ahead at the 215th pick.

The Sainristil pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots still on the board. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
