Priorities are a choice, and the Dolphins made a strange one, taking Denzel Burke at cornerback in the 118th overall pick with edge rusher and running back crying out for the pick instead. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They will need Buchanan to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. That Williams pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
