Nobody had Oronde Gadsden II this high, and it is not close. The Dolphins reached 39 spots to get him at the Round 5 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The Dolphins indulged a want in Ransom while a need in edge rusher and running back stayed open. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Collins at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
