The Dolphins let Starks fall and pounced. Final grade: B. The board owed the Dolphins one, and it paid up: Malaki Starks, the No. 27 name on the board, sitting there at pick 54 like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
Reaching for Broughton left real value on the table behind him. The Ransom pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, edge rusher and other spots still on the board.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
