The Dolphins did not so much draft Carson Beck as overpay for him, 35 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The Taaffe value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
