Draft Grade — Colts
Overall

A respectable, level-headed haul for the Colts: B-. The curious call sets the tone. With wide receiver, quarterback and other spots still glaring, the Colts used pick No. 113 on Tacario Davis, a cornerback they were not exactly short of.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes. The back end got a real overhaul.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick47
Rnd2
Keith Abney II
A straight-up fair deal on Keith Abney II at the 47th overall pick, value and slot in agreement. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick78
Rnd3
Taurean York
A reasonable price with a little left over, Taurean York in Round 3, Pick 14. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick113
Rnd4
Tacario Davis
The needs board was loud and they turned it down, spending pick No. 113 on Tacario Davis with wide receiver, quarterback and other spots unsolved.
