Draft Grade — Titans

FutureB
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Titans. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Titans never addressed running back, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.
Every board in the league had Pieper lower, and that gap is the story. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Colin Simmons
In pick No. 1 they get a disruptor off the edge at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick35
Rnd2
Kade Pieper
Kade Pieper in the 35th pick is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
