Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Texans were there to profit. CJ Daniels, the No. 144 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 5 slot.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
