Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall C+
ValueC NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Flashes of a plan, unevenly executed. Ravens: C+.

Nobody else had Jake Guarnera anywhere near pick 61. The Ravens did, by 171 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

On value alone, Biles makes the weekend a net positive. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

So much rides on KJ Bolden that the real verdict is a season or two away.

Pick Analysis
Pick29 Rnd1 KJ Bolden
In the 29th overall pick they get a ballhawk on the back end, outstanding value to boot. More want than need.
Pick61 Rnd2 Jake Guarnera
Jake Guarnera at pick No. 61 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick93 Rnd3 Christian Gray
A real head-scratcher, Christian Gray in Round 3, Pick 29 is miles ahead of his ranking. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick131 Rnd4 Rasheem Biles
Rasheem Biles in slot 131 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick176 Rnd5 Jayden Jackson
Jayden Jackson at the 176th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick180 Rnd5 Brandon Inniss
Brandon Inniss at No. 180 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick219 Rnd6 Justice Haynes
Nice patience on Justice Haynes, who had no business lasting to pick 219. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick250 Rnd7 Amaris Williams
They let Amaris Williams come to them and pounced at No. 250. The roster fit checks out.
