Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall C+
ValueD+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Some hits, some head-scratchers, and a C+ for the Raiders.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Raiders started one anyway for Joe Otting, 257 picks ahead of schedule.

Getting Jackson Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.

Pick Analysis
Pick20 Rnd1 Justin Scott
In pick 20 they get a disruptive interior force at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick56 Rnd2 Joe Otting
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Joe Otting. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick87 Rnd3 Ty Benefield
Ty Benefield at the Round 3 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick124 Rnd4 Kenyatta Jackson Jr.
The board fumbled Kenyatta Jackson Jr. all the way to pick No. 124, and they scooped it up. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick158 Rnd5 Josh Hoover
They robbed the room for Josh Hoover here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick200 Rnd6 Gunner Stockton
Steal is underselling it; Gunner Stockton at the 200th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
