Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
The Eagles robbed the room for Lubin. Final grade: B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Clev Lubin, the No. 40 name on the board, stolen at the 115th overall pick. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Every board in the league had Fitzgerald lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick10 Rnd1 Ellis Robinson IV
In slot 10 they get a sticky cover corner. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick41 Rnd2 Samson Okunlola
A wild overpay on Samson Okunlola in pick 41, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick97 Rnd3 Robert Fitzgerald
A real head-scratcher, Robert Fitzgerald in the 97th pick is miles ahead of his ranking. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick115 Rnd4 Clev Lubin
Clev Lubin in the 115th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick149 Rnd5 Raleek Brown
Circle this one: Raleek Brown at No. 149 is a fall that decides a draft. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick157 Rnd5 Adam Trick
Adam Trick at pick No. 157 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick166 Rnd5 Tony Rojas
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Tony Rojas in the Round 5 slot, plain and simple. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick230 Rnd7 James Smith
James Smith slipping to Round 7, Pick 9 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick233 Rnd7 Quintavius Johnson
Quintavius Johnson in No. 233 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
