Nobody else had Eugene Asante anywhere near the 200th pick. The Dolphins did, by 231 spots, and that gap is the whole story. About as rough as the board gets, and a F to prove it.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
