It is the swing that defines the weekend: Kyle Louis in the 125th overall pick, a good 24 spots before the room expected him.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Scott pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
