A costly weekend of dealing drags the Dolphins to a D. The rest of the league had time to spare on Justin Walley; the Dolphins did not wait, grabbing him 64 spots ahead at No. 253.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Carter at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
