Lachey should have been long gone. The Dolphins pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 8 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Dolphins sat still while Luke Lachey, the No. 198 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Simpkins III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
