You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Dolphins did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The Porter pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Devonte Wyatt gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
