Nobody dealt better than the Bears this weekend: A-.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

The cost of the Powers-Johnson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Lassiter pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. However the rest shakes out, Arnold at that price is a win they earned.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
