Draft Grade — Bears
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
The Bears found their guy under center in Daniels: B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In slot 1 they get a difference-maker at receiver at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick9 Rnd1 Jayden Daniels
In the 9th overall pick they get a long-term answer under center. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick75 Rnd3 Austin Booker
No drama and no debate, Austin Booker went about where he belonged in the Round 3 slot. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick122 Rnd4 McKinnley Jackson
They took McKinnley Jackson at par in No. 122, which is nothing to complain about. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
