This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: DJ Giddens, the No. 165 name on the board, stolen at pick No. 207.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. The Mondon Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, tight end and other spots still on the board.

Tee Higgins gives the group a proven body among the projects. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
