The Jets did not so much draft Jackson Hawes as overpay for him, 92 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
