The Bills did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Dont'e Thornton Jr. fell into No. 206. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
