There is conviction, and then there is this. The Bills took Ethan Downs a full 80 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

They banked enough surplus on Emmanwori to cover a lot of smaller sins. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
