Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

They are betting Cohen proves the room right and everyone else wrong. With edge rusher, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
