You can hear the double-takes from here. The Raiders took Davin Vann at pick 222, roughly 49 spots before his name belonged. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Grant pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The Raiders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
